Davie Golf and Country Club Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Broward Countys newest golf course will host a Birthday Bash on Sunday, November 4th, to celebrate its 1st Anniversary. Davie Golf and Country Club (formerly Arrowhead Golf Club) was purchased by the Town of Davie, redesigned, and reopened the first weekend of November 2011.

We are thankful that our loyal golfers have come back to the course during the past year", said Danny Boswell, General Manager and PGA Pro, and we appreciate the many new golfers who have discovered Davie Golf and Country Club during 2012". Boswell leads the local staff of Greenway Golf, the company hired by the Town of Davie to manage the golf course.

To show appreciation for a successful first year, Davie Golf and Country Club is kicking off a month-long promotion in November, starting with a Big Birthday Bash this Sunday. Free birthday cake will be served to golfers during the day, and the First Tee Host will be tending a free keg of beer. Golfers can also show their basketball skills in the Shoot the Hoop" contest
and win prizes if they sink a basket.

And all during November, golfers can drop their business card into an entry box to be eligible for a weekly drawing for a free round of golf at Davie Golf & Country Club. No purchase necessary.

Our goal is to always give our golfers a fun experience when they play here", Boswell added, and our 1st Anniversary Celebration will be no exception". Davie Golf offers unique amenities
including iPod speakers for golfers who want to take their tunes to the fairways, free apples for refreshment, and even free golf balls for players who lose too many of their own.
